You can add files to the area hierarchy by opening the drop-down menu and selecting Area hierarchy.
Add file by clicking + Add File.
You can upload a file in two ways:
1) Click Choose File and select the Unicode-file.
2) Drag the file on to the cloud-icon to upload it.
When the loading is complete a File processed notification appears and the Area hierarchy page will open automatically.
Failure to upload is usually caused by these reasons:
- A file format is incorrect
- A Unicode file has not been created according to the necessary model
- A file contains typos in the following words: Building, Segment, Floor or Space.
If these aforementioned parts are done correctly and the file is still not uploading please contact our support at support@congrid.com
After a successful upload, it is recommended to check the layout of the area hierarchy. After this, you can add floor plans to right locations and the area hierarchy can be edited if needed.
