Select Area Hierarchy.
Start creating an Area Hierarchy by clicking +New.
1. Choose a location type from the following options:
- Building
- Segment
- Floor
- Space
2. Usually, a constructed building's name is written on the Name field
Close the window after setting the data by clicking OK.
Continue creating an area hierarchy by clicking the green plus icon.
An Area Hierarchy is divided in the following way:
- Construction building
- Segment A
- Floor 1
- Apartment 1
- Bathroom
- Apartment 1
- Floor 1
- Segment A
Added locations appear on the line where plus icon has been clicked.
After clicking the plus icon the following pop-up window appears:
It's important to count how many segments the project has. After creating the first segment you can add another on the same pop-up-window.
You can create new, more exact locations by clicking the green plus icon. Add floors under segments. After adding floors add spaces, as Apartments, Common Areas etc.
You can add Apartment spaces in two ways:
1) Click the green plus icon and write the spaces manually.
2) Click the blue plus icon and use defined spaces.
Blue plus icon opens Add Rooms named pop-up-window. All spaces are listed and chosen automatically - click each space you want to delete. When you have chosen the spaces you want to save, click OK.
If you forget to choose a space you wanted to add, please note you must only choose a space you want to add using the blue plus -icon. Otherwise, there will be duplicate spaces in the area hierarchy.
You can add floor plans to their right locations and edit areas after creating the area hierarchy.
