Tags are words or descriptions of a few words in company setting that can be used to enrich documentation and analytics. Tags can be used, for example, to specify safety notes and thereby which issues are reported the most throughout the entire company. Tags and tag trees can be connected to various note templates, meaning that quality notes will be equipped with quality tags, and safety notes their own. Tags can be used to filter notes and provide more specific information.
See here where the tags can be found:
A company’s tags may only be set by the company’s administrators, but their activation into the company’s note templates is done by your Congrid contact person or by sending an email to tuki@congrid.fi.
Once a tag tree has been linked to a note template, tags can be added and they will be available immediately to your company’s users.
Start building your tags by creating the highest-level tag, under which sub-tags will be later created hierarchically. The highest-level tag is linked to the desired note template, and the sub-tags are available for note entries.
Separate tag trees are generally created into the following note templates:
- Safety notes
- Safety measurements
- Quality notes
- Environment notes
Creating the highest level of the tag tree
Start creating a tag tree as follows:
-
Select General tags under the company’s settings
-
Select +New
-
Give the tag tree a name and enable it
(see below the specifiers for all fields)
Tag tree encompasses an entire list of tags linked to a specific type of note template.
-
Give a name to the tag tree/highest-level tag.
-
Enter a description for the tag tree.
-
If necessary, select a higher-level tag. If this is the highest level of the tag tree, no higher level is specified.
-
Slug - tag’s ID generated by the system automatically. Even if the tag’s name or other details are changed in the future, this field remains in its original state.
-
Enabled – the tag is set active in the linked note template.
Adding tags
Once the highest level of the tag tree has been created, you can start adding tags:
-
Click on the green + sign at the highest-level tag.
-
Name/Tag.
-
Enter a description, if necessary.
-
The higher-lever Tag is defined automatically.
-
Enabled – define whether the tag is active in the note template.
You can add multiple sub-tags without closing the window in between.
Example of safety tags
Tags contain the most common errors occurring on construction sites.
Example of quality tags
Tags are used to provide more detailed information about notes and to speed up notes entry.
Adding a sub-tag
If there is a need to specify tags with a lower-level tag, you can add tags into the hierarchy. The details of a tag are specified the same way as in the tags at any other level.
-
Click on the green + sign from the tag you want to add details to.
-
Define the tag’s details.
-
Click ok.
